Common questions about how OutbidMap works — how to claim a country, what it costs, and what you can list. The Rules and Terms are the source of truth if anything here conflicts.
WHAT IS OUTBIDMAP?
OutbidMap is a public world map where you claim the 193 United Nations member states. Each country shows the current holder’s empire name, link, and color. There are no ads and no accounts — a claim is just a public listing on the map.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Tap a country, enter your empire name, a link, an optional war cry, and a color, then confirm. The first claim on an unclaimed country is free. Claiming a country that someone already holds means paying more than the current holder.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The first claim on an unclaimed member state is free. After that, each takeover must beat the current holder’s price. A world conquest — which takes every claimable country at once — has its own price shown on the map, and that price doubles after each world conquest.
HOW DO I TAKE A COUNTRY SOMEONE ALREADY HOLDS?
Pay more than the current holder. When your payment is confirmed the country flips to your color and empire name, and the previous holder is knocked off. Rank on the map is only what you paid — nothing else.
WHAT IS A WORLD CONQUEST?
A world conquest is a single paid takeover that overwrites every claimable member state at once and paints the whole map in your color. After a world conquest, the next world price doubles.
WHY IS TAIWAN NOT SEPARATE?
Only the 193 UN member states can be claimed. Taiwan is treated as part of China for claiming and coloring. Territories, dependencies, and observer states are drawn for geography only and cannot be taken.
ARE PAYMENTS REFUNDABLE?
No. Paid outbids and world conquests are final and not refundable. Being outbid later, or a listing removed for breaking the rules, does not create a refund.
WHAT CAN I LIST?
A product website or an X profile you own or are authorized to represent. Chat and invite links (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar), adult content, and link shorteners are not allowed. Query, affiliate, and tracking parameters are stripped from the link that is shown.
HOW DO I PAY?
Checkout runs through Dodo Payments. You choose the amount, accept the terms, and pay. The country is claimed when payment is confirmed. Card details are handled by Dodo Payments, not stored on this site.
CAN A LISTING BE REMOVED?
Yes. We may edit, hide, recolor, or remove any listing that is abusive, illegal, impersonating, or that breaks the Rules or Terms.
